Showcasing Talent
Well into their fourth year, Xchangeteam’s Freelancer of the Year Awards have certainly evolved but their raison d'être is to showcase freelance talent and reward those consultants whose work have offered value-ads to a client’s business and to UK plc overall.
All entries were assessed by a panel of industry experts, who evaluated them with respect to and rewarded key characteristics that make freelancers successful - adaptability, flexibility, insight, customer focus and the commitment to adding real value to their clients business.
Extra Mile for Client
Dominic Shales, Founder/Director of Paratus Communications and Chairman of Judges, laid emphasis on the freelance consultant’s ability to go the extra mile for the client and said that coupled with creative insight and smart thinking it can lead to a sureshot win.
“Rona clearly demonstrated that she had gone the extra mile for the client, achieving a fantastic volume and quality of media coverage that made a very tangible difference to the success of the exhibition. Her enthusiasm for the brief shone through and her success shows that with a combination of dedication, passion, creativity and smart thinking a freelance consultant can make an impressive and measureable impact.”
Benefits of Freelancers
Emma Brierley, CEO and founder of Xchangeteam, discussing the accomplishments of freelancers and the benefits they bring to the clients’ businesses said: “Many potential clients have yet to fully understand the quality of freelance talent available and the benefits that freelancers can bring to their business. The Freelancer of the Year Awards give freelancers a well deserved pat on the back, to acknowledge their work and celebrate their unsung achievements.”
